I can’t really get into sleep last night. In fact, last 2 days I ended up with milo and bread at midnight. Perut pun dah macam buncis sedikit. Probably the machine in my brain just can’t stop working – things are like talking to each other up there. Potpet..potpet..
My usual dose to bring me into dreamland – a song from Flashdance with me in tutu dancing ballet in my head (yeah i know - eeeee), pun tak jalan jugak. I thought of panadol, nahh..nanti addicted pulak.
And I can’t sleep coz I think about Lini. She must be smiling to ears on plane by now - on her way to Manchester again. And this time without me. Huawaaaaa… We both went to Manchester, Liverpool, London and Paris in August last year. And this trip she’ll be covering all plus Barcelona but not doing Paris. Frankly, we both hate Paris – except Disney. But then, Eiffel tower is gigantic and beautiful and I think Notre Dame looks scary. Not sure why some parts of the city stinks – probably dogs/human pee and poo everywhere, the rail system sucks – tensed of finding our way out through signange – sortie (exit/keluar) here sortie there but ended up sortiedly pissed off. Unlike London – baru satu hari je dah expert tukar naik train. Parisian were not that helpful as well, especially when you speak English – and I ended up speaking mix English French with s'il vous plait (please/pronounce si-vu-pleh) at the end of a sentence as a must. Seriously, they tend to be more helpful with that s'il vous plait word. And it sounds funny I think.
It was a great gateway of my life, I shall never forget. The journey in which I thought could separate me from fate and where I can be in isolation from despicable part in me. And it turned out to be just miracle. Despite all the heavy bags that I’ve carried throughout the travel, the triple swirl and rounds of roller coasters at Disney, the caffeine cravings, longs walks with only choc bars to cover my hunger, and the blood - it’s just miracle. Not only that I was charged almost ₤50 for my access baggage, without my knowledge I was also carrying more valuable thing in my life - a baby inside me. Darlius’s baby, my baby. And I love her with my entire life.
And after a month later, Lini laughed and said “no wonder your jet lag was like long overdue – orang 2 hari paling lama.. ko seminggu pun tak abis-abis lagi..jalan sikit pun dah macam nak pengsan..ko pregnen rupenyer..and that was last year.
Bueno adiós mi amigo. Puedele tiene un viaje agradable. Piérdale. Maya kasi interframe jugak..
Extremely exhausted. Wa jalan pakai selipar pink 99p je keliling kampung (sakit kaki sebenarnya)

not getting efficient sleep and extreme exhaustion = the perfect ingredient for 'revealing' profound sweet dream.

THE CHILD AND THE SEA
-o0o-
what a lovely sight is the raging sea,
to the child that sleeps within me,
a war of winds and water that is salty,
that brings calm to where draughts was once mighty,
oblivious to the sleeping child in me,
to the sad stories behind a seaman trophies,
as all to him are marks of glory,
to a dead hero who fought with no worries.
